This company has dedicated itself to the sustainable use of murrapo, as açaí (Euterpe oleracea) is known in the Atrato region. For this purpose, it has a processing plant in the urban area where both the pulp of the fruit is processed to be sold, as well as the heart of the palm where the palm heart is extracted. Planeta has managed the financing for the development of the acaí management and use plan for the municipalities of Vigía del Fuerte, Murindo and Bojaya.
