The problem we are solving

1/10 Colombian companies understand the scope and impact of ecosystem regeneration techniques and Nature-based Solutions. This lack of knowledge limits the mobilization of CO2 compensation resources towards the Amazon.

The solution proposed

We created a pedagogical model called Escuela Bosque, where we train companies and communities on NBS and ecosystem restoration. This allows us to demonstrate the impact of their CO2 offsets and enable their replication in the territory.

Expected Impact

We mobilize CO2 compensation resources to restore at least 100,000 ha by 2030. Our model is based on educational tools with the private sector and communities, of a scientific-technical type and the generation of social license and MVR.

No poverty
Good health and well-being
Quality education
Gender equality
Affordable and clean energy
Climate action
Life on land
Partnerships for the goals

Sustainability of the project

It is determined by the strategy of generating socioeconomic co-benefits that we generate, based in turn, on a technology-based MVR system. This allows the mobilization of private resources and the generation of restoration agreements.

Replicability of the project

It is based on the multi-stakeholder management that we lead together with public and private entities to enable the formalization of properties subject to restoration, on work in value chains to ensure co-benefits, and on knowledge management.

Progress and impact tracking

It is under development and therefore we seek financing in OPEX for the integration of 4.0 technologies in the MVR systems.
