We are a community organization of artisanal fishermen from 7 communities located around the lakes and the Yahuarcaca stream in Leticia (Amazonas), made up of more than 90 members. Currently, the TIKA Organization, through a business initiative led by women fishermen, adds value to fish by producing "FISH FARIÑA", a food product rich in nutrients such as omega-3 and handcrafted (without preservative additives).

Develop environmental governance actions on the Yahuarcaca lagoon and stream aquatic system, based on the traditional ecological knowledge of the Tikuna, Cocama and Yagua indigenous peoples, ensuring the sustainability of fishing activity and the generation of productive opportunities for the social well-being of the communities. families of artisanal fishermen, through community participation, capacity development and leadership.

The Organization of Artisanal Fisherwomen TIKA, is a community self-management initiative in the generation of sustainable alternatives based on fishing, an activity that is developed in the Yahuarcaca lagoon system by 7 indigenous communities of the Tikuna, Cocama and Yagua ethnic groups in Leticia, Amazon. Starting from the preparation of fish fariña, more than 25 women from the TIKA Organization of the Amazon are committed to a productive transformation of added value to fish, improving the income of artisanal fishermen based on responsible and sustainable fishing. .
